There have been so many derogatory statements made by Donald Trump about women that a New York Times article stated Donald Trump “attacks women by demeaning their looks, mocking their bodily functions or comparing them to animals”. During the 19th-century traditional cross-stitch embroidery was a skill young girls were expected to master as a valuable asset for a potential suitor. Here I use the cross-stitch technique not as a subservient endeavor but as a way to fight back and empower women.
